The amount of powder in the lime storage steel silo is displayed by the level gauge; when the position is low, the PLC electrical control cabinet displays the lack of material status, reminding employees to prepare materials in time. The material is fed into the bin through the feed pipe. When the powder material in the bin is full during the feeding process, the high position is displayed, prompting the staff that the material in the bin is full.

Dust is easy to generate during the feeding process, which will affect the surrounding environment and the operating conditions of employees. It is necessary to turn on the dust removal device when feeding, and collect and coalesce the generated dust to return to the lime silo.

Working Principle

The raw materials used in the lime storage tank are fed by a special sealed tanker for bulk powder, and the powder is fed into the lime powder silo through the quick-connect DN100 feed port and stored, and the material is loosely metered and fed by pneumatic breaking and shocking. The loose lime powder is added to the lime milk dissolving tank through the screw conveyor and metered to the dosing point.

The silo is equipped with high, medium and low level gauges. When the alarm is high, it will prompt that the powder in the lime powder silo is full; when the alarm is in the middle position, the powder in the powder silo is insufficient, and the staff needs to be refilled; when the alarm is low, it will warn that the powder silo is out of material. That is, the entire system equipment will be in a shutdown state.

When the lime powder silo is fed, first turn on the dust collector on the top of the silo. When the lime powder enters the warehouse, dust will be generated, which will affect and inconvenience the surrounding environment and the physical and mental health of the operators. Therefore, a warehouse-top dust collector is used in this device to collect and remove dust. The dust absorbed on the surface of the filter bag is oscillated by compressed air and falls into the powder silo. At the end of the feed, the compressed air source of the dust removal device will be turned off after a delay.
