The Wind Swept Mill is the main equipment used in cement plants for drying and grinding coal powder. The equipment mainly consists of a feeding device, main bearings, rotary parts, transmission device, sieving device, high-pressure starting device, and lubrication system.

Working principle and application:

Working Principle:

The raw material is loaded into the mill through the feeding device, and hot air enters the mill through the air inlet pipe. As the mill cylinder rotates, the coal and hot air exchange heat in the mill. The coal is crushed and ground in the mill, and the fine powder is taken out of the mill through the discharge device with the help of the hot air inside the mill.

Wind Swept Mill Technical Features

The hollow shaft is made of cast steel, and the liner is detachable. The large gear for rotation is processed with cast teeth, and the cylinder is lined with wear-resistant plates, which has good wear resistance.
